- AI-powered pattern analysis that identifies correlations in your health data.
- Doctor visit summaries that compile your journal data into a structured report.
- Family sharing features that allow limited health trend data to be shared with chosen individuals.
3. Medical disclaimer
Sola is not a medical device and is not regulated as such. The Service is intended for general wellness and informational purposes only.
- The Sola Score is a wellness indicator, not a clinical measurement.
- AI-generated insights are pattern observations, not medical diagnoses.
- Doctor visit summaries are conversation aids, not clinical documents.
- No information provided by Sola should be considered medical advice.

4. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Sola. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have the consent of a parent or guardian.
5. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when creating your health profile.
- Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- Not create accounts for the purpose of abusing the Service or its features.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission.
- Upload malicious content, spam, or content that infringes on others' rights.

- Use the AI insights feature to generate content for commercial or research purposes without consent.
7. Your data
You retain ownership of all personal data you submit to Sola, including journal entries, health profiles, and personal notes. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process this data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

8. AI-generated content
Sola uses artificial intelligence to analyse your journal data and generate insights. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated insights are probabilistic and may not always be accurate.
- Insights are based on patterns in your data and general wellness research, not personalised medical knowledge.
- You should not rely solely on AI insights for health decisions.
- We continuously improve our AI models, and insight quality may vary over time.
9. Family sharing
When you create a family share link, you are responsible for choosing who receives access. Share recipients can view limited health trend data (mood, energy, sleep, exercise) but cannot access your private journal notes, detailed symptoms, or AI insights.
You can revoke any share link at any time. We are not responsible for how recipients use the information they access through share links.
10. Intellectual property
The Sola name, logo, design, and all original content, features, and functionality are owned by Sola and are protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sola and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:
- Health decisions made based on information provided by the Service.
- Loss of data due to technical failures.
- Inaccuracies in AI-generated insights or recommendations.
- Unauthorised access to your account due to your failure to secure credentials.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Termination
You may stop using Sola at any time. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at [email protected].
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or engage in behaviour that is harmful to other users or the Service.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
